  • Conditionally divisible
    • the individual threads correspond to Soie Ovale
    • are not very tear-resistant
    • are very wavy
      • Moistening and ironing straightens the threads
  • Turned sharply
    • increases the shine
  • Not elastic
    • do not lie flat on the embroidery base
    • a stitch that has been worked must be held in place until the next stitch has been completed so that the tension is not lost again
    • The easiest way to do this is with a laying aid
  • occasionally perform a mini backstitch to anchor the working thread in the embroidery base.
